Storeys:

All hives are constructed using a sturdy 21= mm Radiata Pine, stiffened and hardened using some of the timber industries most advanced and proven seasoning techniques.

Grade Comparison:

Premium: Completely free of defects. These are the finest quality storeys.

Standard: These storeys contain only tight knots which guarantees the integrity of the hive while providing a cheaper alternative to Premium. These are high performance / low cost storeys.

Budget: Manufactured primarily for the packaging and transport of full frames, but are often used as honey boxes. Can have small holes up to 20 mm and edge knots are common in these budget storeys.

  • Full Depth: 240 mm
  • 3/4 Depth: 185 mm
  • Ideal 1/2 Depth: 146 mm
