Simple, Standing-Up Operation
The ProVap EZ Gen 2 is designed to make hive treatment straightforward, without the usual fiddling around with measuring and loading individual doses.

Simply position the vaporiser stem at the hive entrance, dip the open end of the delivery capsule into the oxalic acid, then slide the capsule down the tube. The oxalic acid is delivered into the heating chamber, ready for application.

No measuring out individual doses. No fiddly loading process. Less bending and less strain on your back.

The delivery capsule is designed to pick up approximately 4 grams of oxalic acid per load, using the natural stickiness of slightly damp crystals.

For a double-brood-box hive requiring a total of 8 grams under the dosage protocol described, you’ll need two applications.

Note: Always follow the applicable product instructions and recommended treatment protocol. Do not add water to oxalic acid unless specifically directed by the manufacturer.

Electric Power for Serious Beekeeping
The ProVap EZ Gen 2 remains electrically powered, with a battery-powered version also available.

Why stick with electric power? Because when treatment protocols call for multiple grams of oxalic acid per hive, battery capacity becomes a major consideration. Unless you’re managing a small number of hives or carrying multiple high-capacity batteries, battery-only systems can limit the number of hives you can treat in a session.
